In the 1950s, Kellogg’s introduced a long line of free cut-out masks with various themes (such as famous clowns, magical creatures, and even Halloween terrors). These masks were produced on a single sheet with instructions to cut out the mask, where to cut for the nose and eyes, and where to attach the string to wear. Many other cereals soon followed this trend seasonally and with other promotions.
I really love the design and illustration of these Vintage Cut-Out Halloween masks. It would of been amazing to come across these while eating cereal as a kid. Honestly I just want them all now too.
